I personally don’t think I could live with it, but I’m a wuss when it comes to loud. I’ve only heard the videos and it seems way too much for me. I also don’t think the videos capture the reality. I’ve heard drone is horrendous on these as well. I feel like I see these go up for sale regularly...
They are good quality, and I hope they stay in good shape. Fujitsubo is now offering a titanium tip as an accessory, that I may end up going with at some point in the future. Just not sure if I want to drop $350 on tips. 😂
It was baked into my shipping cost. I made a pretty comprehensive write up of the process here if you’re interested. Feel free to DM me any questions you may have. https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/a-lesson-in-patience-my-experience-with-container-shipping.60620/
Out of curiosity, what were the things that you didn’t like about the Seeker? Besides the wait time, the only negative that I saw was the weight. The 3” piping was overkill for me too.
I’m in Murfreesboro.
I posted a write up of the process here. https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/a-lesson-in-patience-my-experience-with-container-shipping.60620/ I’m happy to answer any questions you may have as well. For the Seeker, I think you’ll come out right around $3k shipped going...
I got mine from Black Hawk Japan. I used container shipping instead of BHJ’s insane shipping fees. So shipped was $3350 for both the front pipe and exhaust. Install was a couple hours of labor, so around $250ish.
After a very long wait, I finally received and got my Fujitsubo A-RM+C exhaust installed. Because there aren’t many full on reviews or sound clips of this exhaust, I figured I would post a review.
We’ll start with what I was looking for in my quest for an exhaust. My car is my daily, and my...
I’m holding out for a few months. I heard there may be a new titanium option coming out soon. While I like the Eventuri inlet, I think the difference in weave would bother me. 😂
Today is my car’s 1 year “gotcha day”, and to celebrate, I gifted her the Fujitsubo A-MR+C Exhaust (including front pipe). It’s a rainy, gross day today, but I’ll be posting a full review of it this weekend. I’ll also post some sound clips as well.
It’s seriously tough. I am not one to enjoy delaying gratification. Amazon Prime has destroyed what little patience I had. 😂 Three months felt like a lifetime. It also gave me an excuse to order more parts that would come in quicker to “tie my over” until this came in. 😂
It was certainly scary to try, but I spent a while watching the group and reading other reviews and got comfortable with it. Would I do it again? Yes, without hesitation. I feel like now, there’s risk in just about any import. I’ve seen where people have had customs/UPS/Fedex hold their stuff...
Not sure the best place to put this thread, but with the current economic craziness with imports and with shipping companies like UPS/FedEx seemingly making up fees on tariffs, I wanted to share my experience with container shipping.
As a disclaimer, I want to say that if you can, please...
Yeah. Some of the fees don’t even make sense. I saw on guy get billed for a tariff fee what was more than what he paid for the product. It’s a total shitshow. I really hope something changes soon.
I ordered an intake from them, and it arrived the day before de minimis exemption ended. They also made sure the claimed value was under the threshold. So I didn’t have any added tariffs. That being said, I’ve seen people get hit hard with them since the de minimis exemption is gone.
Looking for an OEM Aluminum shifter surround console for a FL5. Doesn’t matter if it’s scratched/scuffed. Just looking for decent shape with all clips and mounting points intact.
