Fresh oil change and got around to installing the WOT cooling plate, which looks and fits awesome! My Mishimoto catch can putting in work. Only around 2k miles on the oil. Getting real hot here in FL so wanted to change over to 5w30.

Quick question were you able to drain all the oil at that angle or did you jack the rear up to level it out ? I like the idea of having those ramps as long as you don’t drive off the end of them ?

The drain plug is facing the rear so the angle would have the oil run out the back. Never had any issues with getting all the oil out. Race ramps are a life saver for maintenance. I lift the rear when I'm servicing the trans to ensure it's level for the fill procedure.

That’s great to hear I think I’m going to pick some up . Yeah I wasn’t sure about the angle of the oil filter to but a little left over isn’t going to hurt anything with regular changes. Small price to pay to be able to do it yourself and know it’s done write also less the service fees a bonus.

This is the race ramps set up I use. Pricey but anything worth it always is.

Cleaned the garage to reclaim work space, found my old box of 24
15400-PLM-A01 oil filters (much better than the newer 15400-PLM-A02 filters) and did an oil change.

A few days ago, I finally made a trip up to Carlisle PA, and spun the DynaPack with Drob at IMW for a Custom tune. Despite high humidity and temperatures, we were able to hit some nice numbers! higher than I was initially expecting.

It was a very cool experience, but at the same time, it was nerve-racking for me since I installed every single modification myself. If something were to go wrong (e.g. boost leaks, fuel leaks, mechanical issues), I would have no one but myself to blame ? Yes, I did my due diligence and prepped the car before hand (new spark plugs, fresh oil/coolant, double check hose clamps etc.). Thankfully, Drob didn’t see or experience any irregularities. I’m by no means a professional mechanic, just your typical DIYer, but it’s definitely a huge satisfying feeling knowing that you installed everything correctly and that the car runs smoothly pushing this kinda power.

Nice that you finally got the tint done! I only did the side windows too — not a fan of tinting the rear ones, especially since my night vision isn’t the best. And the front? No way — even the slightest optical distortion drives me crazy ?
By the way, if you're looking for something to unwind with in the evenings, I can recommend this online casino — perfect for chilling out after a long day.
