And that’s why I’m slow in the kink…..

To be fair, that was accidental - the first curb is fine but the second curb is aggressive - my approach wasn't quite right and I clipped the 2nd. But the picture was great ? - can't say I wasn't trying! And that’s why I’m slow in the kink…..
Great driving!!Day 2 update - here it is! 1:43.1 with 118mph min over the kink:
I found some more time in session 3 in some spots and I couldn't make the whole lap faster - I'm still chasing understeer issues but I seem to be moving in a good direction - we'll see how tomorrow goes!
Thanks man! It wasn't traffic - that was me fighting for front grip. In session 3 today I actually just held 4th through there which wasn't any slower mid-corner and it saved a shift in the straight, so overall it was faster. I just think I need to roll more speed through that whole section.Great driving!!
Only thing I noticed was the “Senna” throttle blip through turns 5-6. I’m assuming it was the slower traffic that got you hesitant on exit.

T9 is a non-corner so you may mean somewhere else, but I do jab the throttle sometimes mid-corner if I'm not happy with attitude of a car, hoping for it to break loose and rotate, however as the car is it's not doing that.Gotcha!
Also, I think it’s Turn 9 you jab the throttle a bit too early and it pushed you wide so you lost some time waiting for the car to settle back for full throttle. I may be wrong I don’t know that track at all lol
you should give up the ps4s even with more camber, they don’t belong on the track.I did a track day at I29 Speedway today on the short course. Brand new Pilot Sport 4S tires. Ambient temps peaked around 75 F. I’m running consistently 1’19” laps without traffic.
Hot tire pressure on the fronts was 35 psi. In one track day I’ve destroyed the driver’s front tire with chunks of rubber missing from the outside edge.
Alignment has maximum negative camber possible with the stock setup. Running pedal dance with VSA off.
My last set of PS4S ended the same way at the same track, after 4 track days.
What are my options for a durable track and street tire? Do I give up on PS4S tires unless I modify to allow more negative camber? Which street/track tires offer similar or better grip with more durability with stock suspension?
Which mode are you running?Day 2 update - here it is! 1:43.1 with 118mph min over the kink:

That's actually what I switched to mid day Friday, but it didn't feel much different to be honest.Which mode are you running?
Wonder if you're using +R with long press, since you have coils. I would think that would help would rotation vs pedal dance.
Interesting. I do feel more rotation on entry with +R, but I feel I can control the car better with pedal dance. That's actually what I switched to mid day Friday, but it didn't feel much different to be honest.
Ya, I'm not sure if I like +R better or not - I feel like I have felt one corner where the brakes grabbed on exit like STM was still on - happened a few times, but not to the point where it seemed like it was slowing me down.Interesting. A reverse stagger might also help. Could be over-tired in the rear.
Unfortunately you never had a chance to mess with the coils before this.Ya, I'm not sure if I like +R better or not - I feel like I have felt one corner where the brakes grabbed on exit like STM was still on - happened a few times, but not to the point where it seemed like it was slowing me down.
A reverse stagger would probably help but I like being able to rotate - I already run 10+ psi more in the back, but I don't know that I have the setup optimized yet.
