P3 also squeal some and I have them on the rears.

It's been a few years since I've ran the RP-1s, but I don't recall them being overly loud. But I'm old so I don't remember much
I have just the P3 in front. They seldom squeal. My wife approves.

Im leaning towards Rp-1 up front and Bluestuff in back, seems to be safe review wise and budget friendly

Anyone grease the back of their pads? I have in the past on a street car but don't think I will if these pads will last well in season and see some decent temps.

I don't plan on taking pads off until they are toast.

If anything I would do RPX on the front and RP1 on the rear

I think the rear RP1s are a new product. They didn't exist last year.

@DustyDan -- as you might have seen elsewhere -- I recommend CSG Pads. The CSG CPB's sound right up your alley. Great on the street and work well on track. They are a bit pricey, but you don't have to make the sacrifices of the other pads.

Out of curiosity, how long would pads last if you are a novice?

Just had my first track!

I had alot of fun. The instructor was telling me that I was doing very good, and kept asking if I had any previous racingexperience. I was rocky at first but once I learned my lines, and the break points I got in the flow and I was really picking up speed. Two of the instructors told me that they loved the CTRs.

With him I caught up to and we got the point by from a 911 GTS and a Camaro SS lol. So it was really encouraging.

I spun out the first time because I had havits and rode the clutch in a turn. Later when it was just me I drove off track because I passed another 2 guys and then I just drove beyond my limits becuase I got overconfident lol. Learned my lesson quickly and embrassed myself becuase they saw exactly what happened lol. To my suprise the car held up great and so did all of the temps. Nothing overheated.

Now onto the bad:

Not sure what happened, I think maybe because I was still on my stock tires (had the car since 2022 so probably not a good idea to use 2 yeae old tires lol) but one of my tires started leaking randomly air. I thought maybe it was because I went off track but I did like 4 laps afterwards and was fine. I only noticed it after lunchbreak when I went to go fill up gas.

I thought I could wing it and head back home but after like 7 miles I started smelling really bad burnt rubber, and could see smoke. I pulled to the side of the road and now here I am waiting in my car for a tow to the local Honda dealership ? Thankfully I have another car to use.

I bought the EC7s with the Hankook 275/R35 18 so I'm hoping that will be better. I have seen people say that the tirewall is really thin on the stock tires so maybe thats why my tire was leaking air. I didn't see a gaping hole or a nail. I could just hear it hissing out air and it was taking forever for the tire inflator to work. With no spare I was SOL.

It was just me and thought it would be cringe to ask someone to take a picture so I don't have any copl photos ?

Get those new tires and not worry about it again! I wonder if it's valve stem?
