My last instructor was coming from a Cayman GT4 and didn't approve of this method ?Being smooth with your inputs is the name of the game. You're also right about braking, these cars respond so well to trail-braking. You can rotate the car into the corner when you get it right.
this is a really good tip, when doing a self check always tense as hell, adrenaline pumping, way too much grip on the wheel. I been trying to take it easy lately, times are good but just out there to have a good time so I chill for a minute then go for a little push on a couple hot laps, rinse and repeat.Listen to what he's saying. No need to learn the way that I had to.
Another thing to force yourself to do is to RELAX. If you do a self-check during your laps, you might find that you're tense. Ease up in situations like that. When you relax you tend to look further ahead, which provides your brain with more information, and you will naturally lap faster.
What is your setup and where is the boost coming at and where is it dropping?Logging and testing E60 at the moment with Jester. The mid-range his tune has unleashed is just bananas. I can't wait to get the car back on track ? only a few more steps to go and I think it's perfect ?
Stock except for hondata and flex fuel kit. Stock fuel pump. I'll let jester answer the boost question it's hard for me to know from just butt Dyno. I just know it feels great lol. What is your setup and where is the boost coming at and where is it dropping?
I need to look at my rear pads again. When you flip are you simply flipping inside and outside pads?I think it's pretty good. The rear however is awful. I went through 2.5 sets (1 OEM , 1.5 power stop) in that time frame. Leaving vsa on for 2 rain sessions killed a set. Rest of the time was with vsa completely off (5sec press). I have no interest in going pedal dance so gonna look for a bbk of some sort.
Stock car with just Hondata and canflex. Boost is holding steady since it is lower than what I would do on a standard tune so the pump has enough room. I could go leaner on the AFR’s on such a high ethanol content but I want the car to remain as cool as possible for the track duty that @svvitch wants to do.What is your setup and where is the boost coming at and where is it dropping?
