That sounds like a reasonable price. I would do that if the track was well maintained and interesting.
it is fun and track surface is not bad. facility is not that great compare to other track, there is no pit or garage you can park. it is freaking hot in Florida, so we usually just do the morning, and going home after lunch

Registered for next track day w/ Chin. They are more, but at least they offer 3 hours a day on track. Some of the PCA and BMWCC groups had less than 90 minutes for novice/intermediate groups.

I have a HPDE event this weekend, and I am kicking myself for not installing my adjustable ball joints and camber/toe arms  Feeling very lazy. I am still going to get an alignment with the pins pulled up front. Meh. Oh well maybe before the next event in September..

I guess I'll at least change my oil ?
Why? What noticeable difference does installing those parts do?

Lucky enough in central Florida there is a place called FIRM. Membership is $2500. and it is just a little over 2 hour driving for me to get there.
Yeah I'm the same distance. I'm considering getting that membership too but wanted to go there for my first time. Have you gone there at all?

Daytona is closer but thats seems too intimidating for a complete noob like myself. I like that FIRM isn't a FIA tier 1 track like Sebring or Daytona so there shouldn't be a huge crowd there I'm assuming

Just prevent outside shoulder of my tires wearing down unevenly side to side. Need a little more camber up front.

90 minutes is not bad. My perfect day is 4 25 minute sessions. I get tired after that.

If you find any solution on mounting the uniden please post it on the fourm.
I just use a suction cup from amazon because cheap and can mount the detector more behind the mirror so its less on my line of sight. However there is a blend mount that does work, I have seen a few people running it. I am sure you can find which if you search. But its expensive (I had blendmounts before, they are excellent ao may be worth the price)

Same here just running the suction cup that comes with the uniden. I have 2 different direct wire kits haven't done those yet. Maybe this weekend? ? No. Probably not.

Blendmount doesn't have a uniden that fits fl5 listed on there website. I hate the wire hanging down.

yep its not on their site but there is one for another car that fits, can’t tell you which but have seen at least 3 people talk about it.

yeah screw a wire hanging down, just mirror mount it, its super easy, I made a tutorial on how to do it

I had it mounted on my fk8 and moved to fl5 now.

you got that to fit? I have one of those and could not figure out how to get it to fit. Regardless I prefer the suction cup so if anyone wants one just like this let me know, I will let it go for $15 shipped
