Awesome man. I put my deposit down two years ago as well. How was the dealership experience. Any mark-ups? Did you get the colour you wanted?
The CW at Surrey is my car.
I’ve bought 4 cars from Surrey including my FK8, so my experience has always generally been good. I got the color I wanted, but do have to take some mandatory options which I’m fine doing.

So I am coming from a 2020 FK8. My old cars fuel pump failed on me and there were no replacement parts due to the recall. My unwavering faith in my car a bit shaken, seeing as all the parts that failed were sourced from England..... where the car was built. My A/C compressor shaft seal failed the month before.

One week FL5 impression: This genuinely feels 1000% better in every way, like a true second gen product. I've heard complaints about suspension but in comfort mode it feels much better than the FK8, even on Montreal's broken pavement. The gearbox feels slightly more solid than the FK8, and I haven't had the 4th gear lockout like my old car had so I am happy. The feel between shifts is more consistent too. I haven't hit 1000 km yet so no VTEC just yet.

Are you from Quebec? Took delivery of a grey one?

You got a great deal!!
I talked with your dealer, but I’m too far away from Quebec.

That car sit there for a week, until you brought it your car with fuel pump issues

Haha yes. I first told them I wasn't interested and then my FK8 failed me.

There was one other buyer who was interested before me but financing didn't work out. They ordered some stuff that was placed on the car before I decided so I did end up paying for those things too but not end of the world. The car itself was at MSRP brand new, 18km.

Oh yeah, I bought my FK8 from the same guys in 2020
