I received and installed the ITS ADS module this week. I ordered it 3/9 from OEMAcuraParts.com, but was willing to wait on backorder. Installation was less than 1/2 hour all together.
I'm very happy with the results which is about one click less than the CTR module, such that my Sport is now like comfort used to be. My new comfort is still fine for spirited driving on public mountain roads.

Awesome, I just got notified that mine is in the mail. Any tricks/traps to the install would be greatly appreciated. Videos online look pretty straight forward, but there's often something they neglect to mention.

I followed a YouTube video.
My only clarification is the rear seat cushion clips have to be pulled forward, while pulling up lightly on the forward edge of the cushion.

Since I just did this on Wednesday the only tip I thought was helpful was to pull forward the backrest to reveal and access the sole 10mm bolt holding the lower seat cushion, then pull forward the 2 clips. Then the rest is pretty straightforward. The plastic cover is held together by 2 10mm bolts, one lower section when you remove the lower seat cushion you will see it. The other is behind the plastic cover in the middle of the cover. Once the cover is removed, just unclip the harness and remove 2 more 10mm bolts.

Doesn't look like I can order from the same website... can anyone recommend other websites that are reputable to order the ITS module? Hopefully buying my CTR tomorrow and I'm old and want the softer ride lol.

Got my new ADS unit, trying to install. I'm confused about removing the seat bottom. I can feel the clips, but can't seem to pop them free. Is there a release tab or anything? Or I just have to pull harder? Don’t want to break anything...

You pull them toward the front of the car to release.

Feeling dumb lol. I can feel a plastic part that attaches to the body of the car that may have squeeze tabs, and a metal part above the plastic part that I guess extends into the pastic part. Does the plastic part come out, or just the metal part?

For others' benefit, there is a little white clip that you can see if you lift the edge of the seat. It has a little tab that you grab and pull toward the front of the car. You can then pull up on the seat and it pops free.

I just installed the module yesterday and drove the car today.

Definitely good tip on releasing the seat (youtube video tutorials don't show this very well). Also getting that seat 10mm bolt out is a pain, putting it back is even more a pain. But overall not too bad of an install.

Is it me or the 3 modes are now very similar. With the Type R module there was a HUGE difference btw comfort and R, now they are all kind of the almost the same. I can definitely tell the difference but its super minor. However R mode is now usable, even on the street its pretty decent and I am not bouncing all over the place. That said I think comfort mode on the type R module is about perfect so unless you want to hit the type R button on track and not have to be on individual I don't think this module really is as life changing as everyone claims to be

It’s exactly what I told you it’d be. I’m glad I’m not crazy because it’s not night and day or life changing.

Too many others seem to disagree with reports of the car feeling "more planted" or "more connected" or "night and day" over the FL5 ADS. Comfort on the FL5 ADS was the answer from Day 1 and it still is.

100% exactly what you told me. I need more drive time but I almost don't like how comfort feels now, I think my individual will now be in sport which is probably close to what Comfort was. You are definitely not crazy. This is nice to just press R and have the suspension be good and then can take traction of fully if needed. The other thing that I never thought about is that I like the steering on comfort so I might still do individual at the track.

Indeed is I am thinking. I need to take the car to the track and put more driving in but I don't feel any more connection or it being more planted. Car basically feels the same as comfort but now you have 3 settings that basically feel the same more or less. Its nice to be able to actually press the R button though but apart from that I don't think its a life changing experience
