The master Civic craftsman who hand-built yours must’ve been slacking. That gap is clearly 0.2 mm out of spec. I’m sure there will be a TSB for it and his family dishonored. </s> ?

All joking aside, zooming in, is there a crease below the joint!? Could there have been damage?

Just call your local honda dealer and take it there for inspection. It shouldn't matter which dealer as long as it's honda. I had a issue with service with my local dealer and they weren't trying to accept my car because I didn't buy from them. Honda is honda there shouldn't be a problem.

That's such a miniscule difference in gap, I'd be worried the dealer monkeying around, taking off panels will just make it worse.

I know everybody wants a perfect car (hell, I'm one of them) but this seems like a pick-your-battle type of situation where I don't think I'd spend the time/effort/risk of bringing it to the dealer.

Agreed it sure looks like it unless it’s just a reflection but yeah looks like a crease to me .

Championship White is notorious for big gaps ?
All Kidding a side what does the other side look like in comparison and is that a crease in the picture below it on the lower panel that caused it to pull away ?
The edge on lower panel looks jacked up to and rough with two creases on the panel. Almost looks like it was attempted to be repaired by someone.

Is the gap the same on both sides Frank ?
Regardless I would have honda take a look at it. I wouldn’t loose any sleep I’m sure they’ll get it like it should be for you.

Other side is tighter from what I can recall, but yeah let honda take care of it

Mine looks exactly the same, smaller gap at the wheel than at the headlight.
