maybe use a new installer ? Lolkind of an accepted risk of the install since they have to lay the ppf down and then pull it back up to cut.
In my case, the installer offered to fix it both times it happened to me -- first time was on my truck's mirror cover and he just put some touch-up paint before putting the film back down. Second time was on the DE5 on the driver side rear door bolster (the little stick on widebody pieces) - the paint peeled off the very edges.
Annoyingly, the repair was invisible on my truck whereas on the DE5, you can kind of see if it you're looking for it (which, I always do as I wash my car)
my car was full wrapped and 0 issues
