kind of an accepted risk of the install since they have to lay the ppf down and then pull it back up to cut.

In my case, the installer offered to fix it both times it happened to me -- first time was on my truck's mirror cover and he just put some touch-up paint before putting the film back down. Second time was on the DE5 on the driver side rear door bolster (the little stick on widebody pieces) - the paint peeled off the very edges.

Annoyingly, the repair was invisible on my truck whereas on the DE5, you can kind of see if it you're looking for it (which, I always do as I wash my car  )
maybe use a new installer ? Lol

my car was full wrapped and 0 issues

No, this was between 2 different installers. The first installer did the work for several other cars for me with no issues.

Could be the case also where some cars have better adhesion, or your installer didn't say jack since sometimes it's a minor issue. As you can see above, it's not uncommon (not that I'm saying it happens all the time either)

How much were you charged for full car ?
For the DE5 it was $5,800 including halo ceramic coating and ceramic tint all around, but this shop I had family that worked there so I had a discount. It was kind of a pain taking it down there too (it was in OC) but it is what it is.

The shop I've taken our other cars before to is local to me (Ghost Shield) and they've been generally pretty good. I did look into your shop and will definitely consider them for my next car.
