Hey Marc - any idea in dyno gains from the Milltek? And how is that valve control development going?

Not sure on dyno gains. I wouldn't expect massive gains or anything. I think typically a 3" free flowing exhaust might net what, 8-10 hp? or something along those lines. I do know that it "feels" better acceleration wise. It's definitely improved over the stock restrictive one.

As far as the module, the testing is still ongoing. There was 1 option we tried today that we thought was going to work but it didn't. It's not going to be an issue though. They should have it sorted out within just a few weeks if not less hopefully. It's a little trickier than anticipated but it's not gonna be a big deal in the end from the sounds of it.

Well nevermind then :(
hah no worries. If I didn’t care about AutoX I’d be all over it and I thank you for your help! Though things like this do push me closer to autox retirement when I can’t do the mods I want ?

Thanks! Do you know if it will be included for those who bought or is it going to be offered as a buyable accessory?

8-10 hp and then add a prl intake would be money

I’m not sure. I’d think it would be included but I’d have to ask.

Do you know if when it is user controlled, and the valve is closed, whether it still responds to the Honda programmed opening if you're stepping on it or in R+? Or with the user controlled option does it eliminate the OEM cues to open/close?

I don’t have it functioning yet with a module, it’s still being tested but my assumption is it will override the oem functions once the module is in. You’ll be able to tell it when to open closed or set it to stock to function as stock

Keep us posted, the setup sounds tasty!

Is the type r oem exhaust all one piece? Trying to figure out how to get the oem home from the garage once the milltek is installed ?

Yes, aside from the front pipe it’s all one piece.

here’s a photo of the factory exhaust. Unless you want to mess up your interior it’s best to get a van or suv.
