It’s fucked up but they can do, only a signed buyers order or draft. If it’s written on a random dealership sheet they can wiggle their way out of it. Legally binding is the only thing that locks a price in.
That's why I got my as down to the dealership as soon as my sales asked, "how soon can you get here?"...I didn't want the dealer to change their mind....signed the contract and gave them my trade-in, like "here take it"...

EDIT: first drive to work...love the accent lighting :) and the headlight are great too!
Like to thank @AspecR as well; it's the California list on page 296 that help me get my FL5...
so thumbs up my kind sir

How does the suspension feel in Comfort vs the FK8? Curious if the hide is harsher or not.

I've been on Sports mode the entire time, and it's very complaint. At no time did I tell myself, "that was rough"...the car, even in Sports mode, absorb the bumps really well. I'll drive home on comfort later to see if I can add more...

Looking forward to hearing your impressions! My partner has some health issues and appreciates a comfier ride when possible, so I know I'll be running individual mode with most options cranked up but suspension set to Comfort most likely.

Do you still have the plastics on the seats or is that lighting?

Oops :)
did I forget to remove the plastic?
my bad :)
My dealer is keeping all of it on for me so I can remove it. I'm looking at getting a seat cover for the times I'm coming home from the gym or from a run club, but the plastic that it comes with should do until then. How do you like the seats? I really liked the feel of the ones in the FK8 and I'm curious as to how these compare.

The seats feels great! and they are easier to get in and out of...the side bolster near the back rest portion is smaller now, so butt slide into seat easier now (without butt scrapping the side bolster prior to butt on seat, like FK8). does this make any sense? hope this helps.

Makes perfect sense, im a bigger dude and never had issues in the FK8 seats they fit like a glove, so was hoping these would not shrink and keep the same energy lol! cant wait to rip one of these!

@AspecR

Is it safe to assume that Type R's will not follow the normal monthly allocation list and will just populate in the system as they become available?

Normal allocation is on the 15th right?

No problem. Most of my experience on these forums have been positive and it seems like a group of people willing to go the extra mile and help out a fellow fan. If I notice anything pop up for cheaper I won't hestitate to contact you.
Thank you so much, just joined this forum, been on the 8thgen one lurking for years, have to say the Honda community is pretty great.

Correct, also after this rollout some dealerships won’t get anymore and some that didn’t get during this rollout will get their allocation
