$51,389 with Tint, Cargo mat, All season floor mats, and whatever else they put in their standard package. Only financed $34k with my 17k trade equity so really can't complain
this is a great deal

Anything over MSRP is unreasonable. If you don’t feel bad about blinding gifting $5k to the dealer then it’s all good.

Additionally you’ll likely never get that $5k back unless it’s 15-20 years down and it’s low mileage and pristine.
Of course. I'm still waiting allocation so anything can change between now and then. Holding out for the best deal.

my break down is as such: don't beat me down too hard:
$43,990+$400 (Boost Blue)+$10,000 (ADM)+$3100 (Forged Wheels)+$2250 (Carbon Wing)+$5000 (6years/100k warranty)+$1500 (5 years full wheel/tire/glass protection) = $66,240 + 10% (roughly) = $72,864 OTD...

Wish I could have talked the $5k warranty down or delete, but I figure I'd get it anyways...if I track car and engine blows, I get new engine correct?

But above is my honest break down, nothing hidden...let the barrage begin?

EDIT: The dealer prolly would have sold me the car with just the ADM, but I want those items that I've listed above anyways.

high! 6.9%
but plan to borrow $$ from fam to pay off in couple of months, than open CD account and start paying back the CD account equally for 57 months? turn negative 6.9 into positive 2.5%?
That’s mighty nice of your fam to payoff the car for you. With HYSA as high as they are (my Ally savings account is 2.35% and I know there are higher) you may just want to look at those. CDs keep your money tied up. The HYSA your money is liquid so you can move it around as you please.

As a military officer who has seen young guys ruin their finances with car loans, this thread is definitely triggering. There would definitely be a lot of counseling/mentoring going on if these were my guys.
I'm a military brat and my dad and I have seen it all when it comes to young soldiers spending too much money on cars. It was always sad to see them driving a new mustang or challenger and then the next day drive a beat up 80's Toyota.

As long as people are doing sh*t like this, those 10-20k adms will stay around. What... the... f*ck!

I know...started adding stuff up, and at the end, couldn't pull myself to delete any of the additional items. and thus the bill got ran up...the only thing I think I F-ed up on is the $5k extended warranty. I've should have at least try a little harder to talk that down to $3k or something...I know it's not $5k...someone else on these forum will get the same and it'll be like $1,999 or something low like that.

I think the R is a fantastic car for 40k but not at the price of a fully loaded M2 or a CT4 blackwing. I hope you’re a millionaire.
