lucky aand congratsJust visited my dealer, car has been locked in at 60k after tax in CAD. He told me that the car is expected to show up at the end of the year. Didn't specify on colour however I told him I'm fine with anything. Good luck everyone!
Did you pull the trigger?
You know, for an MSRP or bust stickler you don't seem to appreciate free things ?.
Not that I blame you for buying at MSRP, but free is free my man. Even if it's 1 oil change. If you don't care for or appreciate it that's you but im sure others would love to have peace of mind on basic maintenance for 2 years.
Yeah I get it. I've got a dealer close enough to me that I have no problem with having them do it. But whatever works best for you brother!Honestly the it would take to drive to the dealer and wait is not worth the few bucks I'd save having them do it. I always do my own oil changes with a Honda filter and synthetic oil, it's fairly cheap, easy and takes minutes.
Yup, East coast cars are 3-5 weeks outSeems like they’ll start rolling in in a couple weeks…good luck gents
I got this same thing from this dealership. I laughed at their price. Someone may pay it but it sure won’t be me!
Road trip down to Seattle?my car came!!! picking it up tomorrow!
Where are you picking it up from?my car came!!! picking it up tomorrow!
They won't understand sadly but hey it's their money. Kudos to you though for being patient.Just got a call from another dealer in Socal that I had showed interest in acquiring a type r from and seems like $20k mark up is the standard here. He offered the car to me for preorder but I told him I am not paying that kind of mark up. The salesmen then said if it doesnt get sold via preorder they will knock it down 5k to 15k ADM in store to whoever wants to buy it first.
I know everyone has their money and are free to do whatever they want but I truly think if people were collectively patient on these the dealers would have zero choice but to mark them down heavily and most buyers would win in this case. Just my 2 cents.
