My rear brake pads are done after 20k miles and was wondering what I should do. Go back factory or go hawk performance hps 5.0 high performance street brake pads the car will not be on the track just daily driving.

If you're just street driving, I'd do dixcel M pads, front and rear. Virtually no brake dust, inexpensive, and plenty of performance for the street.

EBC makes a really nice pad for street use
Redstuff rears are popular. Good street performance, low dust

Yellowstuff can handle even more heat than Redstuff, but the trade-off is moderate brake dust

What about Paragon P2?
My neighbor has p3’s front and rear. Can confirm the dust is minimal. Now in winter, there’s a squeak in the front after the first stops of the day but as soon as there’s a tiny tiny bit of heat in the rotor (by the time he’s maybe 3 stop signs away) it’s totally gone and super silent

Yes, the Yellowstuff will be a tad dustier over OEM Pads

What about Paragon P2?
Paragon P2 are ceramic, they produce lower dust levels like EBC Redstuff and Hawk Ceramic

I used the blue stuff pads on the TLX Type S and, even though they weren't supposed to be, they dusted quite a bit!

I'll be using the Paragon kit on my CTR
