265/35 Yokohama Apex v601 on an 18x10. Definitely a slight stretch. I will go 275/35 on the next set.
275/35s are much more limited for options in that size sadly. I've also *heard* 295/30/18 is a good option too.

seems like PS4S in 285 would work well but I haven’t seen anyone running it. Maybe I’ll be the first!

Has anyone been running this setup for a while with extra front camber? I just installed EVS ball joints in spring, and have already chewed through 3 front tires. The OEM Michelins that had about 12k miles on them corded pretty quickly after about a dozen autocross runs after the camber change, but they also had roughly 8-10 events (~50-60 runs) and a track day on them before that so I'm still not entirely sure how much to attribute their demise to the camber... but also worth noting that one of the Falken RT660+ I replaced them with is also pretty much destroyed, but I believe that may be a delamination issue, or at worst my toe may be off on the passenger side. But this one only lasted 2 events, and roughly 1500 miles (the other side is fine though). These were 275/30/19 on 19x9.5 +45 Apex VS-5RS.

Just curious about the life expectancy of tires if I leave the camber as is. It's currently at -3.5. I plan on going with 275/35/18 RE-71RS. I'll do at minimum 1 autocross event per month but honestly probably no more than 3, and hopefully at least 2 track days this upcoming season. I'd like to think I can still have some tire left after a season, assuming I rotate every 2-3 events at a minimum (and probably flip mount halfway through).
Are you running the most aggressive option for the EVS ball joints + pins pulled?

Toe destroys tires way faster than camber. What is your toe set at?
I don't have my print out handy, but when it was aligned it was near 0. I'm aware though that even slight adjustments to toe can make a huge difference, but it was in the "green" region on the sheet, I want to say within a few hundredths of 0 on both sides.

I'm also aware that alignment can be knocked out especially with hard driving conditions (like autocross). I need to get it checked.

Are you running the most aggressive option for the EVS ball joints + pins pulled?
Yes to the most aggressive setting, no to pulled pins. It's at -3.5 degrees in the front.

A multitude of factors in addition to toe, too, is how is your overall tire wear with -3.5⁰? Generally, a good rule of thumb on these cars is -2.5⁰ to -3⁰ front camber to get pretty even tire wear. You may have too much camber and its eating away at the inside edge. Pics would help because toe wear and camber wear look different too.

Any folks with this wheel spec running 265's?

Thinking of upgrading to a 275 next but want a squarer tire. Thinking a RE-71RS or RT660 in a 265 would fit better than a 275 280+ TW tire.

Love my AD09's but bothers me that the rim is exposed, don't want to curb it.
I am, I'm not a fan of the V601's . AD09 is superior but also wide and square at 265 vs comparable 275's.

Stick w/ your plan your on the right track

Looks so good! What’s your suspension setup? Getting 265/35/18 RE71RS mounted on diamond silver TE’s today 😀

I have a set of 18x10 +40 SW388’s on the way and I preordered the new RE71-RZ in 275/35/18. Supposed to get them in March. Anyone else going to use those tires?

Interesting, what don’t you like about the 601s? I know they aren’t as track focused but as a tyre for street and some track use I’ve been impressed by their value and performance.

Thanks to everyone on this thread for posting information. I went with the below combo and am really happy with the square look of the tire and how flush it is with the wheel. Will be going on a BB FL5.

This setup has me curious now because I think 35 size tires are a bit thick for an 18..

How low are you from stock and how much camber are you running? How’s the ride quality?
I'm on Ohlins with shorter swift springs up front. About a 2" drop. -3⁰ front and -2.5⁰ rear.
