In this video I torture test the WOT Performance Dual Oil Coolers, Try out the RaceBred Splitter, Notice Oil Pressure Issues, and set a new Personal Best! Stay tuned for the modifications that I make to turn this kit into one of the most desirable mods for the Civic Type R FL5 Platform!!! @siwelnosaj

I just got mine in the mail yesterday. Should I hold off on the install based on your findings? I am still waiting on the WOT Spec PWR Triple Pass Radiator with the trans cooler anyway.

No need to hold off! The oil coolers do wonders for controlling water and oil temperatures! The car was having oil pressure drop in high g-force corners before and after the oil coolers, but the 5-6psi dip that i saw in normal "track" pressures can be simply solved by using a thicker oil on the track. On the road you won't notice any difference at all!

Haven't gotten a chance to watch the video, but how does this compare to any other oil coolers you've used?

They outperform the HEL oil cooler that I had on the white car. Much bigger impact on coolant temps. I bought an oil temp gauge, but need to install it….still waiting on a few pieces for that.

I will say, and I haven't released the follow-up video yet after some of the changes that I've made, that I was concerned about the oil pressure, not only around corners, but the overall drop in pressure running two large oil coolers in series.

I'll save the forum the suspense in the interest of education over views. I have two recommendations if you're to run a dual oil cooler setup.

1. You'll likely need to increase your oil viscosity under racing conditions to 10w30 or 20w50. 5w30 does just fine on the street, but once everything gets hot, you'll see a 6-7psi pressure drop below what would be considered normal. (in the video that I haven't released, I use 10w30)

2. Pressure drop happens in high G corners with and without the coolers, but seems to be a bit more of an issue with the coolers. I installed an oil pan baffle, and the problem went away instantly.
