Hey everyone!
It has been 2 years and half since I got my sonic grey Type R with 5K mark up. And I finally made up my mind to write up something here.
The post may lack some photo as my photo skill is really absent these couple years lol

Baby seat (used to be a Recaro, but that is on the SUV now, because it is easier to put baby on)
OEM high wall floor mat (have a set of karo on stand by)
Exterior
Track front end PPF (Xpel)
window tint (Xpel)
OEM carbon wing
First thing first, this is my previous Honda
May 2023, first photo of my type R, sent to me by my sales person. Yes, I paid mark up, 5K.
PPF on the front, plus the roof cap and side skirt
Went to my first car & coffee, randonly parked next to some type R, and also met my track partner at the car & coffee
Started to go to track. At this point, only the brake fluid was changed. Very stock
Surprisingly find the watch still had stock when I went back to Taiwan by the end of 2023
Got the wheel from the "parts for sale" here. It traveled all the way from Washington state to Florida. Paired with conti extremecontact 275/35/18. It was on sale, buy 3 and get 4th free.
Couple weeks later, the front camber joint is on, and already can see it will be a lot work to get the suspension out...
Sebring
Rear is sexy
Also went to Homestead with track buddy. And get to meet club-version there. Nice and fun track as well
Showing off some interior photo. Custom steering wheel. The leather is blue/greyish, with alcantara on top and bottom. Stitch is red, black and the same color of the leather.
Recaro Salia, this is a old model, not the latest XENON. But it is the same price... I may try to get that one the next time I went back to Taiwan by myself lol
But this one come with red, the latest XENON does not.
DBA rotor has contact with the rotor shield... just FYI
Some mugen parts that is not performance related
The sticker translate directly "I am slow", but it should really be "Ya, I am slow, so what"
The last moment of the endless CCRG, this is why I have project mu in the front and endless in the rear lol
Cool day for PB at sebring just couple weeks ago
PB at sebring Jan 2026
Plan for this year 2026:
Has been debating if I should get a bucket seat, but I think I will pull the trigger very soon.
I may just stay with stock power for now, but I am hoping to get WOT radiator to fight the Florida weather.
Also has been looking at LSD, but the labor is really the killer... Maybe when mt transmission is done for a big repair, I will add the LSD to the list.
Thank you all for reading the whole thing till here. And feel free let me know any suggestion.
