Like most I am looking for a new Type R or even opened to buying used with a few miles. I'm open to any color but I will not pay over msrp. If anyone can help please lmk and big thank you

Even used the price of the car is inflated right now. So chances of that are slim to none.

Good Luck! FK8s had markups pre-pandemic, so finding one at MSRP up here is nearly impossible. And MSRP dealerships have like 2 years of deposits on their waitlist.
If I found another one at MSRP, i would grab it without even thinking about it, I wouldn't be posting here telling you lol

I have a lot of cars and I bought my GTR and my Z at msrp but ill tell you now the type r was harder to find than all combined and the GTR they wanted 30k over and the z 15k over. I still paid over for my TypeR. Even after saving 45k on the others. Honda and its clients are not playing games. the waiting list for people at 1-3k over is LONG. Expect to pay 5k minimum. I just had a friend buy a used one for 5k over. Peep my pfp

So long story short - I have a cousin who is GM at Honda and he finally got one in for me. So I get the text to come get it and I say it's msrp like we discussed. He says no the higher up's will let it go for 15k over and I say no you had promised me one at msrp. So he talks to them and comes back at 10k over. I say no again we already discussed this. Well it's been 3 weeks and I have yet to hear back. In that time I have found one almost 2hrs away for $3500 over. I declined that also. I ended up getting a Integra Type S at Acura for msrp + every after market Acura option I had to take but did get some money off them. Most of them I wanted anyway so I am happy. I spent more than I wanted but I like the Type S just as much and it's probably better for me anyway being I have a 3yr old and it will be my daily after the winter.
