11th Gen Honda Civic WOT Performance FL5/DE5 Single Oil Cooler Kit diagional

I am excited to announce the single oil cooler version of the WOT Performance Oil Cooler Kit for the FL5 and DE5!

This kit maintains the same design and benefits of the dual kit, but with just one cooler located on the driver’s side (left hand side).

The purpose of the kit is to offer it more as a “sport” kit as compared to the dual kit being the “ultimate” package. The performance should still be better than anything else out currently. The kit is using all of the same high quality components: the WOT dual duct, PWR core, Raceflux lines with an added fiberglass/silicone protective sheath, HEL sandwich plate, the fender liner vent, and all necessary brackets and hardware.

Track testing with the dual cooler set up showed incredible performance, with oil temps being reduced by 35°F and coolant temps dropping by 30°F. It is fair to assume that the performance gains on the single oil cooler kit will yield at least half of the performance of the dual cooler kit. Oil temps were collected using a physical sensor installed in the oil pan, which is measuring temps post engine and pre oil coolers. Had temps been measured post oil coolers they would be even lower! The oil used in testing was Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w-30.

Oil pressure with the dual cooler kit was observed to show a drop of only 3-5 psi vs with no coolers when comparing at the same temperature. That said, the coolers more than make up for these losses by virtue of keeping the oil temps down. It was observed that near the end of sessions the psi was the same or higher as compared to OEM because the oil was not thinning out nearly as much.

The benefits of the single oil cooler kit:

- Will still have tremendous performance and will reduce both oil and coolant temps.

- Uses the same top of the line components: PWR cores, Raceflux lines, and HEL thermostatic sandwich plate.

- 3D printed ducts, CAD modeling via Casale Design LLC who also designed the Spoon Thill 24h bumper vents and is an aerospace engineer by trade

- Retains OEM brake function, No brake cooling issues

- Requires no cutting at all of the bumper

- Does not obstruct airflow to the radiator

- Uses an exit vent in the fender liner, angled outboard to evacuate hot air out (no issues with front end grip or unusual tire wear have been observed)

- Maintains easy daily driving oil warm up via 180°F thermostat in the sandwich plate

- Uses 10an Raceflux lines which have a lifetime warranty against leaks with the fittings

- Minimal to no drop in oil pressure vs OEM

All kits will be built to order with an estimated 4 week turnaround time. Cost is $1500 USD shipped within the USA. $1350 for the DE5 as it does not require the ducting, DE5 can use its OEM front bumper vents, and simply needs to remove the plastic behind them (few clips and screws). Will ship internationally as well.

It will likely be slightly better than 50%. The temps in the single cooler will be higher yielding more heat transfer out.
