New WOT Performance product announcement!

WOT/HPT Microtube Intercooler with results that make it the new top dog in the intercooler arena, especially for track applications.

Tested this past weekend at GTA Finals. The results were incredibly impressive. Data was collected on the same day in sequential sessions with the industry leading IC being tested first followed by the WOT/HPT microtube. The WOT IC outperformed the industry leading IC both in charge temps (13°F) and coolant temps (16°F lower peak coolant temp) consistently through the whole session. Big performance from a unit that is only 15 lbs! (4.5 lbs heavier than the other unit tested).

The data shared is from Friday's open practice sessions at Buttonwillow's famous CW13 configuration. Testing was done using my car which is now making 500 whp on 30 psi boost. The industry leading IC was used for 4 sessions, and the data pulled is from the 4th session. On the 5th session the WOT/HPT was tested and it was a bit warmer out (74°F vs 70°F from the earlier session). Data on the graph was collected at the same point on the track with the car going 121 MPH at 7066 RPM with 29 psi boost. Both approximately 5 minutes into the session.

Charge temp performance is a function of the microtube structure promoting a massive amount of surface area for coolant and heat exchange. Coolant temp improvement is the function of the microtube structure promoting a ton of air flow through the intercooler and to the lower half of the radiator.

Microtube tech is new to this platform but not new to motorsports; Indy Car and LMP1 race cars, along with others, have used this tech for a while. The advantages of this tech are improved charge and coolant temps, low pressure drop, and light weight. The primary disadvantage has always been production cost and in fluid cooling the potential for clogging with viscus fluids (oil).

The WOT/HPT microtube intercooler introductory promo price will be $1650 shipped. Orders will be "made to order" with a lead time of approximately 4 weeks. They are coming from Hong Kong and you may have to pay a tariff but the price should be minimal (the first customer paid only $21).
Message me to set up your order or to ask any questions you may have.

Bigtime dyno testing results with the WOT/HPT Microtube IC!

My first client at the release of the microtube intercooler, he has the same tuner as me, Rtuned (Ramon) in Puerto Rico. Two days ago they installed the ic on the car and ran on the dyno to do testing.

Rtuned made a post on Instagram and with his permission I'm sharing. He said:

"Testing the new @wot__performance Microtube Intercooler in this time attack Civic Type R FL5. Results: Previous WHP was 475 and 442 torque, without any adjustments to the map just replacing the intercooler car did 511WHP/472WTQ. Ambient temperature was 91 degrees and 51% humidity, from 3500rpm-7000rmp IAT1(Intake manifold) stayed at 100 degrees the whole pass in 4th gear making it highly efficient. The best part of this intercooler is that it has minimal restriction to airflow to the radiator and we've already tested at Buttonwillow Racetrack in another FL5 and confirmed significant lower coolant temperature. We'll be testing at our local track in Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks to share the coolant temperature results."

Follow up from Ramon when asked if they did multiple dyno pulls, he said:

"Did 3 pulls. First one was 509, second 511, then I lowered 1 pound of boost and made 504."

So now we have Dyno results to go with the track results.

Message me to get one, I have 8 left in the upcoming batch, target release of December 20th.
