Hey everyone,

I’ve experienced a strange issue several times now. I thought it might be a fluke but have been able to somewhat replicate.

When I’m on the highway and drop a gear, typically into 4th, and hit the gas I’ll make it to about 4,500-5,000 RPM and the car will surge as though it’s losing power quickly - hard enough my head moves forward - and if I keep my foot down it’ll soon get through it and keep going. I expect a push when the turbo kicks in, but would expect it to push me back in my seat, not forward. Any ideas?

For reference, 2023 CTR bought new and only mods are an aftermarket air filter and shifter bushings (so, stock basically).

Updating here in case someone else comes across the same issue. While in for the recall repair I had Honda diagnose the issue. They were able to replicate it and it threw a low boost code (though never a CEL). The turbo is now being replaced under warranty.
