Since I bought the car in the Midwest when the first cars came out. I was forced to buy Continental DSW O6 plus all season tires. Now I have both the OEM and
the all season tires and have been fine for my type of driving and don’t know if I should put the Summer tires on or just just sell a brand new set with no miles on them. I’d like to get different wheels but there not to many options with the OEM tire size, so I can use both ! I don’t want to buy a third set of tires so should I sell the OEM tires and get some other‘s or just keep the All Season and use them if they’re just fine for what I need ?
Any Suggestions
It was unfortunate I have not even put 200 miles on the car since I had my accident and broke my left kneecap in half. Now it warm again and still only have 800 miles on my beautiful car. So 800 miles on the All Season or 0 miles on the oem tires.
any suggestions?
Thank You

What wheels did you get for the all season? I will also need two set of tires.

The OEM wheels. That’s the problem. There’s only 1 all season tires that will fit the OEM wheels and that’s the Continental DWS 06 plus

Oh. I have heard good things with the DWS 06. I believe Topher has those in 18s

Personally I'd sell the DWS 06s and run the OEM wheels with the OEM ps4s for the summer. and then pickup a budget 18inch wheel setup with either all seasons or winter tires, for the winter.

It would be easier to sell the all seasons since your target audience is most likely to be other FL5 owners, or FK8 owners who run 19s (still a rare crowd as they mostly downsize to 18s). The FL5 guys would most likely have the stock tires with them, so unless someone needs an extra set, the stock tires would be a more difficult sell. Many guys would want a winter/all season/daily set of tires, so the all seasons would be a better choice for most if not all. I would do the same as @CTRifecta recommended. Sell the Contis and get a winter setup, and use the summers as a daily for now.

Unfortunately that’s the only all season tire that fits the OEM rim, hence the the reason I bought them to begin with. I wanted to get new wheels, but there’s not that much that will fit the OEM tire size ! I would have to buy not only new wheels but a different tire size ! I don’t need 3 sets of tires in the same size. That’s why I was asking if I should get rid of one set or the other tires.
thanks.

You can always try to sell the OE summer tires. Some people here may be interested in them. The reason why you were forced to buy the Continentals is Summer tires are not recommended to be driven colder than 45F on a regular basis and does not work on snow.

Since you do plan on getting a 2nd set of wheels (assuming this is your nicer summer wheels) and want to stick with the stock tire size, the simplest way is to get a 2nd set of 19" wheels you want and put the OE summer tires on there.
