Thoughts on the carbon fibre wing?

On the OEM CF pieces the red weave is smaller and closer to a square, all the knockoffs I've seen have longer rectangular weave.

I decided to make mine my own also ????
Just some mild mods a PRL aluminum heat sink cover and PRL Stage 1 . You can definitely hear more whoosh whoosh from the turbo now lol and looks good . For sure more response and I swear it pulls harder . Very happy with the looks and results and pretty proud of myself not touching it for about a year until now.

Can you guys verify that this wing is legit. Someone posted a page back confirming the new labeling and wanted to make sure this is all good. The SN on the wing doesn’t match the number on the box. Not sure if they’re supposed to match up.

Not sure about the numbers but Is there a seam when you look under the wing going from one side to another ? Or is the seem on the back edge side to side closest to the rear window , also the fitment should be perfect and line up perfectly .

Seam should be on the back edge but barely visible and smooth to the touch. There should be no seam under the wing just on the rear edge as pictured. Also on the replica the cf pattern will be slightly different although still have the red flash in it.

Also did you buy it from a dealer or private party ?
Here is a close up of the CF pattern and it also is made in Italy and a OEM + wing. I’ve noticed the replicas have a slightly wider pattern and not as uniform. Here’s mine and what it should look like .

I will be purchasing it from a private party so I wanted to do my due diligence before I pulled the trigger. Thanks for the info!

If it’s to good of a deal it just might be .
If you don’t mind me asking what’s the price he wants ? I bought mine a year or so ago I payed around 2000 from a dealer which was the going price for them if you could find one unless you went for a knock off which was somewhere around 600 ish I think.
I would recommend to use a form of payment were you can get your funds refunded if it’s not as described such as PayPal good and services not friends and family .
Or a similar payment platform that will protect you.
