On Friday I went over to @JST Performance for an actual dyno tune via @COBB Tuning now that I have the PRL intake / PRL turbo inlet / TSP downpipe / PRL front pipe on (into the stock exhaust), and man the car feels great now. Brian tuned my car previously remotely but that was with stock everything, so now that I have the modifications I wanted to see what it would do.

Brian is a track guy so we stayed pretty conservative as he understands track demands. He made me 2 93oct tunes - a very conservative "track day" tune (356whp) and a still somewhat-conservative "TT" tune (382whp), both GL TA Street legal with peak boost around 23psi (25psi is a hard limit for the class). Right now I've only tried the track day tune and it pulls great now even in higher gears - really looking forward to trying the TT tune soon!

Looks great! @JST Performance is the real deal. Brian is a top notch racer, so he definitely knows what a tune should look like for the track.

Also with FCP euro its free changes for ever
This is news to me and pardon if asked before; kind of tough to filter through a 185 page thread for a specific reply.

HOW does this work, exactly? I was about to order off Amazon until I came across this post.

Also how much do I need for an initial flush of factory fluid?

1 bottle of srf should do it. Once you change brake fluid you can put the old stuff in the bottle and ship it back for store credit. That pays for the next bottle of srf. I've yet to send mine back but other people swear by it.

That's on the second bottle, not the first

It is kind of crazy... shipping an open bottle of DIRTY brake fluid feels weird but fuck it, I'm finally getting around to flushing out my fluid for some fun this season and was NOT expecting this stuff to cost $75 a bottle...

I'm gonna give it a shot.

I have done it countless times, its great. About to order one (with credit I already have from returns) and then flush and return and get more credit.

I am also lucky i am very close to them so shipping is dirt cheap

Basically the first one will cost you the regular price. It's when you order the replacement bottle, then you ship back basically what is from the first bottle and the you start the cycle.

Things are a little more expensive there, amazon you can prob get srf for $20 less but then after 1 return its worth jr and every time more and more.
This works with every product they sell

Big fan of FCPEuro, been taking advantage of this for a few years myself and saved a lot of money. They have a few pad options too for the Brembo 1001 pattern.

For return shipping, I’ve been using PirateShip.com. Shipped back $1K worth of stuff for $60 last year.

You can return stuff one by one, or pay for it and bulk return later for store credit.

For SRF. Do 2 bottles. SRF doesn’t mix well with other fluids, so you want to be comprehensive.

Maintenance bleeds can then be a single bottle.

When shipping SRF back, but it in a Freezer bag or any other good Ziploc. SRF bottles don’t re-seal well, and it will leak. If you get bored and wanna test it out. Turn it over and watch how quickly it leaks everywhere ?

I bought the one bottle at FCP Euro for $73 (plus rush shipping because I need it by Friday morning)... but bought the second bottle from Amazon for $56.

Still, having the piece of mind that I'll be getting credit back every season is comforting.

lol thats what I did as well when I did the first flush. Will never need 2 again.

Check the date on the Amazon one because I have heard some sit for a while.

I need to order my yearly one from FCP euro soon as the weather is getting nicer

SRF basically absorbs no water, I wouldn't worry too much about the date. Even opened bottles a year later absorb no water

I would be more worried about fake ones, more than anything
