Hey everyone!

Just picked up a CBP last month (at MSRP IN socal!) and i’m looking to install some springs. I’m most interested in Swift Springs, and it seems like there’s a wide variance in reported ride quality; people either say it rides like OEM or it’s super bouncy. Honestly, it would suck to install these and end up hating the ride without being able to experience it beforehand. For reference, i ride in sport mode exclusively.

Can folks on here chime in on their experience?

If you've already heard a variance in reported ride quality you will get more of the same here. Why would it be any different? Perspectives are shaped by too many factors and it's all relative. For example, there are folks who swear by the DE5 ADS module and there are others who believe the FL5 ADS module is perfectly fine. Another example, a member recently reported the Remark twin tip drones like hell, and others disagree. Your best bet is to find a local who will give you a ride in a car with Swift springs. You're in Socal, shouldn't be hard to find.

appreciate your write up man.

You have a valid point, and that’s why i wanted to point out that I daily in Sport mode since it characterizes what i find to be a “good” or “enjoyable” ride. Leading off that, maybe it’d spark a discussion as to who might like “which” springs, beyond spring rates.
You’re right in that there’s no better way to know than to experience it first hand. Coming from the truck world, i don’t know too many people personally with FL5s or any lowered civics for that matter. So i’ll like in just end up biting the bullet and moving forward with an install

I’m on swifts with the DE5 ADS module and love it. It’s little bit more harsher than stock with medium/large bumps and dips, but tolerable.

I’d imagine it’d be much harsher/bouncy with the FL5 module. It all depends on how sensitive you are with a harsher ride. If sensitive, Spoon or Eibach might be more suitable.

I’m in the north east btw

+1 to FL5 Swift springs & ITS Ads module.

it’s starting to get a bit tiring for me so considering swapping to RSR Coilovers.
