Steering feels harder to turn to one side

Posted this in the recall thread but maybe better to make own thread.

I am not sure if this was due to the recall because I don't remember feeling it but maybe I was just not paying attention.

The steering is slightly harder to the left than the right, its almost like to the right feels like its in comfort and left is sport. Its not much harder but enough for me to feel it.

My wheel is also not centered and I honestly don't remember when this happened, I could have sworn was not like this before getting the recall done (took an hour so definitely the new method and not removal of subframe). I have rotated the tires, tire pressures are good and the car has had an aligment, actually had 2 but the wheels still not centered even after I told em about it.

Anyone experience this or have any sugestions?

I actually scheduled an appointment this morning.

They need to regrease the worm gear and replace the spring. Essentially, what happens is that the spring pressure is so high that it pushes grease out, resulting in you eventually being unable to turn in one direction. This affects the direction you turn more often, which, for me, is left-hand turns, given that I live near a major highway.

The fix takes less than 30 minutes.

If you prioritize right hand turns like UPS, then you'll never ever have the issue. Just gotta work smarter, not harder!

lol - this would have just changed the side on which this issue would present itself.
