Removal of exhaust resonator(s)

Has anyone removed one or both resonators and replaced with a straight pipe? How’s the subsequent sound and performance? If both are more to the owner’s liking then it should be less expensive than a completely new exhaust system.

Many people performed this modification as soon as word got out the DE5 did not have a front resonator. You've been around for a while so I'm surprised you missed it. I suggest searching and look to engage members who have performed the modification through that thread.

You're correct (as usual Clark_Kent), I did miss it and tried again to no avail - LOL. I'll keep trying, but if there are those who have found it, then I'd appreciate a heads up!
