You guys can call your local dealers to get your VIN checked out.

I'm in the 600s and I was not affected.

Don't have a squeak but am assuming with my low VIN I'm affected:

If you could ?
Yep you need one too

Remember guys…more cars could still get on this list but just judging by the ones I’m seeing it’s mid 6xx and below.

I can’t run Canadian vin numbers but that’s a very early car so I’d bet you need one as well

Does this mean that at some point in production Honda corrected the welding points? If it ends up being the first numbers of the production run?

So they usually find out through production that some had some faults and they finally upgrade that part…sort of like the condensers on the 10th Gen.

Yeah. It’s pretty normal for manufacturers to fix things or make manufacturing improvements during a production run.

Woke up to a message of this from a friend. Most of the earlier cars will be getting new frames. Expect Honda to contact mid May. So don’t call them wondering if you can bring it in today. ?
