After taking forever to collect the parts and then find time for the install, I finally got it done this past weekend. I ended up using only 3 items from the mikstore kit:

1. The splitter
2. The thru console duct
3. The charger and harness

Everything else I got from JDM Yamato, including the rear housing, a/c outlet, rear duct, and type r center console for my si. Once I had all the correct parts, everything fit together perfectly and install was 2/10 difficulty. By contrast the first time I tried to make it work with just mikstore parts was a frustrating experience.

I stayed with the Mikstore charger because it has 1 USB C and 2 USB A outlets, which offers more flexibility than 2 As or 2 Cs and the mikstore harness is dead simple plug and play with the 12V outlet.

All in all, this was a more expensive project than I intended because of the Yamato shipping costs. But I am still pleased with the result.

would you mind sharing the exact part numbers that you ordered off JDM Yamato? Thank you in advance if you’re able to do so!

Sure here you go. Keep in mind that you may be able to find some of these from US sources with cheaper shipping than yamato. With any luck the console box is not on back order any more? YMMV

Hi, do you remember when you got his from MIkstore if any of the individual parts had anything stamped on them indicating that they were genuine Honda OEM parts as opposed to something aftermarket that MIkstore had built?
Thanks

Kit came in today, hoping to tackle the install tomorrow. I really don't know why this doesn't come from the factory, it's 1-2lbs of plastic.

My son should be much happier riding home from little league.

I’m looking to install rear A/C Vents and USB Ports on my 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid Hatchback Sport Touring using only genuine OEM Honda parts from either EDM or JDM.

It appears this has been done with a couple of FL5s. I’m looking for any experience or advice with sourcing the necessary parts for my FL4. Ideally it would be great to have access to both EDM and JDM Honda parts catalogs for direct referencing of parts needed; if anyone knows where to find either online, I’d appreciate any names and/or links.

I feel like I’ve read some conflicting information as to how much of the MIkstore kit uses genuine OEM Honda parts. It seems no parts come in Honda packaging but that Honda and the part number are stamped on at least some parts. Looking at this particular photo on their website shows parts with Genuine Honda packaging

I’m wondering if they’re putting together their own “kits” with genuine OEM Honda parts they’re able to source from their own or the Japanese market, unpackaging them to save on bulk-weight and ordering in the Civic’s case a common rear housing where the tabs need to be trimmed on some models so as to avoid having to have multiple kit configurations. And they don’t include the console box for similar reasons and maybe cost, instead expecting you to cut to fit the existing one.
If the kit is comprised of genuine OEM Honda parts, then I’m curious as to how they access the splitter since someone has said the piece is not available separately from the heater subassembly.

For either EDM or JDM genuine OEM Honda packaged and sourced parts, this is the list I’ve come up with for Installing Rear A/C Vents and USB Ports in an FL4

83433-T24-T01ZA (console box)

83470-T24-J01 (mat)

83419-T24-T00 (bracket for box)

90140-TR0-A01 x 2 (bolts for bracket)

83406-TVA-A01ZA (rear outlet)

93913-24220 x 2 (screws for rear outlet)

83453-T24-T01 (rear duct)

83451-T24-T01ZA (rear housing)

91550-SFJ-WO1ZE (plastic clip for main duct)

83430-T24-T00 (Duct, Rear Vent)

32114-T20-A40 (Console Wiring Harness) (correct ?)

8A350-T20-A01 (USB-C Ports) (correct ?)

Is it agreed it seems the parts wouldn’t be affected by whether the car is LHD or RHD?

In the end, is the answer the MIkstore kit and buying the console box, rear housing and the rear vent duct from JDM Yamato or Cox Honda Motorparts?
Thanks!

The only thing that mikstore provides that AFAIK can't be found elsewhere is the splitter. I don't think anyone has successfully figured out the part number for it. I have no idea if the mikstore splitter is even OEM. Unfortunately mikstore only sells the splitter as part of the full kit. Maybe you can get them on the phone and convince them otherwise.

Every other part can be sourced (assuming no back orders) from an OEM source.

If anyone has figured out the splitter part number please post it!

Personally, I don’t care if the duct or usb c charger isn’t OEM. You can’t tell the fit is good enough and it’s hidden.
For me the vent, back cover and short tube are oem. Rest are milkstore.
