11th Gen Honda Civic PRL Cobra Intake for the 11th Gen Si is Now Here! 1755817478925-n

After many inquiries, & the popularity of the Cobra on the 10th gen 1.5t platform, we decided to make a Cobra Cold Air Intake System that is compatible with the 11th gen Si! We took our classic Cobra back to the drawing board & made the necessary changes needed to properly fit the intake to the 11th gen Si. This ensures proper fitment & performance that is expected with PRL. We are excited to give you guys another option, & YES our PRL inlet pipes are compatible with this intake.

Overview
Our Cobra Cold Air Intake System for the 2022-2025 Honda Civic Si 1.5T is a complete cold air solution engineered to bring maximum performance and clean, aggressive induction sound to your 1.5L turbocharged platform. This system pulls fresh, dense air from the lower driver-side bumper duct—well outside the engine bay—to promote cooler IATs and more consistent power delivery.

Engineered for both performance testing and everyday drivability, this intake system delivers dependable gains with the same proven quality behind every PRL product.

Performance Gains
Dyno testing confirms that even without a tune, this system brings measurable improvements in power, response, and sound. Tested on a completely stock Civic Si without tuning, our Cobra intake delivered up to:

  • +16 horsepower
  • +9 lb-ft of torque
  • Gains sustained throughout much of the RPM range
  • Peak improvements measured at key points in the powerband
Test results from dyno runs on a stock Civic Si (no tune).
The yellow lines show the Cobra Intake; the green lines show the stock airbox.

What are the pros and cons vs the existing HVI?
The Cobra will be louder, sees a little more gains, & the location of the filter allows it to pull some cooler air by being completely out of the engine bay. Install will take a bit longer/is more involved with the Cobra, & the location of the filter will take more time to access for service.

Where exactly is the filter? Is it at risk of getting water in it? I’m in south Florida so I’m frequently in heavy rain

It sits right behind the fog light housing. As long as you have your fender liner & do not drive through any deep water, the risk of water getting in there is miniscule since it is in an enclosed area.
