New Vented Under Tray

I've used the WOT cooling plate for much of the year. Definitely better in a hot, desert climate.

I doubt anyone would notice an aero lift difference, which is probably offset by the extra mass of the WOT plate.

The WOT supplied Allen head fasteners are high quality, but I swapped them out for flanged hex head bolts. I prefer hex heads on bolts I'll be removing regularly.

I replaced my bolts, I actually felt the opposite, the bolts were not high quality imo, I actually got a couple that were not even usable (WOT is great and offered a replacement immediately, great customer service).

I bought titanium bolts, 2 sets of these (https://amzn.to/4rnb1MN)
They have been great, the plate has been off a few times and easy to come out, they are torx which I prefer as well.

Ti bolts are nice and light, but the threads are prone to galling.

We use a few in aerospace, but the nuts were moly coated to prevent galling.

My idea was more of a won't rust as probably saved 1 gram. Agree that they are prone to gailing and will keep an eye on them everytime pan comes out for an oil change

@pho- Do you have a link to the Chasing JS bolts you used to secure the undertray ??

It looks like with the CJ's bolts we only get 6 but looks like the WOT undertray has 8 holes. In addition to using the 6 CJ's did you use 2 of the WOT supplied bolts for the 2 quarter turns ?
