Small world! 1096 is in the same rail container as 1033. (This container holds ~12 cars.) 1096 arrived at port on Green Lake vessel 12/27/2023 and departed port 1/4/2024 11AM PT on BNSF railcar # ETTX701465.

This is an interesting thread! I have #1469 which came with a work order saying: Destination to Marion OH / Due date 12/15/23 but then in the upper right corner- Richmond CA 1/9/24 11:59AM.

Maybe it was late and actual move date was 1/9/24 out of CA. The eventual dealer #208928 is in North Olmstead OH.

Nothing important but I'm just wondering how long they sat on the car before I bought it since they took MSRP on it? I purchased on 3-2.

I'm familiar with the work order. The Due Date means different things for different manufacturers. For some manufacturers, the port is given a due date to complete accessories and add-ons. The port doesn't accessorize Hondas (dealerships do) so in Honda's case, the due date is when the manifest was sent to the port 12/15/2023 to notify them that they will be receiving this vehicle. It was likely on a boat at sea at that time.

The Richmond, CA 1/9/24 11:59AM date is when the port printed the work order.

Seeing that your car left the port 1/15, I assume it arrived at the dealer in OH early-mid February so I think they may have had it for a couple weeks - 1 month before your purchase on 3/2. Ken Ganley Honda had 11 FL5's so far, which is a lot, so I assume it's volume in the region driving prices down and giving you a better chance at MSRP. Congrats by way :]
