MY 2024 Civic Type R FL5 Shipments from Japan

Looking at the info on page 1 it seems about 2,000 units for MY2024. How many cars came to the USA for MY2023 out of curiosity? Wondering if more waves will likely come. 2k for 2024 may be the total?

Hopefully the rate continues for MY2024 but there's a possibility it could slow down later. I see 3,587 MY2023 units that came through this port with the lowest vin 000031 and highest vin 003941. This number does not account for units that arrived via special delivery, other ports, or other means. I'd say 4,000 MY2023 units is possible since the highest vin I see is 0039xx for the U.S.

I gave my best guess for number of MY2023 units in an earlier comment on this thread.

I don’t think the shipments have stopped at 2K for MY2024. The year has just started.

Those Sanderling cars are not moving...

The port needs time to process thousands of cars which sometimes include window stickers, label throw-ins, accessorizing, fueling, washing, inspections, etc for multiple manufacturers (not only Hondas.) Once the port is done, they send release notices to carriers to come pick it up at the port and transport it to the dealers.

And the occasional test drive and souvenirs, sucks but if last year is any indication, a few poor cars may be victims.

Spoke just a bit too soon yesterday. Notified this morning that the next shipment is en route ETA ~2/2/2024 on the Morning Margareta vessel with 240 units. Updated my first post with link and counts. We're up to 2,235 MY2024 vins now for the U.S :]

The data for some early units weren't captured for some reason so the color is missing and categorized under "Unknown." Hope this helps.
