Any thoughts on why the part number changed from 49S89-A0000 to 49S89-0001? I could not find any details.

Can confirm. I just checked mine and it has the same number and even has the former number as well. Dunno

As usual, I was curious, so I asked Grok.

Grok could not find any reason for the change, it is claiming that the specs are the same, speculating possibly a manufacturing or production change or a supply chain change

Usual disclaimer about AI tools...

More than likely a revision was made. Specifically tho, no idea. I for one love mitsu turbos but definitely would never spin them past their efficiency island. Not even a little!

Part itself is also stamped with A0001.

I’d definitely spin them. Cause my shaft nut spun right off😅
