Looking 4 Spring Install Chicago Burbs

Hello!

I was wondering if y’all knew anyone good for swift spring install on the type R. I live in the western burbs of Chicago.

I was also wondering, typically what does it cost for an install? One shop said 4 hours for install and 1 hour for alignment for a total cost of 750. Is that pretty typical? Thanks!!!

I used AFA performance in downers grove for my ITS. Was 500$ on the install, left it there for a day. Alignment was 125 At a separate shop. Would recommend them, young group of guys but they’re good. They’re a BMW/Porsche shop.

I appreciate it! I don’t know what I was expecting for cost lol. 750 with alignment at the same shop seemed a bit high but seems reasonable after what you said. I’ll reach out to these guys as well!

I second AFA! Used them for my Swift Springs and had no issues. Great shop.

Called them; seem super legit. I’ll just go there. I appreciate it! Said 500 for the springs and 250 for alignment. He said he’ll try to work on alignment cost a bit

Check with Auto Performance Modifications in villa park. They did my alignment for 125.

Don’t go to AFA, took my M3 there twice and wasn’t pleased with the service. Something was messed up both times.

Take it to Rudz Racing in Elk Grove Village. Just had my swift springs installed there and they aligned it in house as well. Good guys and price was cheap imo. These guys live and breathe Hondas.

I’m going to piggy back off this thread. I’m in downers grove, would these shops be a good option if I want to have ITS dampers installed in my CTR? How much would that run?

I haven't been to Rudz so i cant verify, but I've been following them on IG for a bit and am a big fan. Everyone's personal experience may vary at any shop, but both are great options.

This is very easy, I would recommend doing it yourself. Multiple videos on youtube you can watch. Here is one going the other way around but same process.
