K&N Cold Air Intake

Hey everyone new to the group, I had a question I recently purchased and installed the new k&n cold air intake but had some minor issues with the intake box fitment… do you think I should remove it and trim the box or do you think it’s ok to run it like this?! Thanks in advance for any info.

If it doesn't fit properly and you're certain it's not operator error, I would uninstall it and return it. There are many intake systems for the FL5 to choose from that will fit properly. Also, looks like the intake cone is damaged from the hood making contact with it.

Those open top intakes should come with a strip of rubber to seal the box to the hood.
