I've been driving exclusively on individual mode with auto rev match off and have had a great time doing it, the only issue is I don't like that I can't fully turn off traction control.

Switching over to +R however comes with the caveat that on upshifts the car likes to briefly hold your rpm in the correct spot as to help smooth out the shifts. I'm already pretty good at this and the additional help from the car almost makes it feel sluggish at times if I'm shifting quickly.

Wanted to know if there was a remedy to this or if I should just get used to it since it's a performance feature (similar to auto rev match).

I've asked this before and it seemed like the only answer to this was to disable it via a tune.

What's bizarre to me is that it doesn't happen in individual mode. It's a nice feature to have for convenience, but it's the last thing I'd ever want in +R mode when I want as much control as possible
