I think it sounds good, and probably won't drone. I won't ever so this slip fits with clamps ever again, it's my current set up and it's rattles, squeaks, and clunks all day. The system I have was also half the price. You will have better quality with the borla, but you won't have 3" piping, and you still get clamps and slip fits for 3k.
It's nice to see more options hit the market, but as they are released you realize it's more of the same. More clamps, expensive, and leaves a lot to be desired in the sound department. This exhaust, like nearly all of the options currently available, is not appealing to me for several reasons.
Design - This is probably the worst part of the exhaust. Between the tips and the bracing around the muffler, there's way too much going on. The slip fit design with band clamps is a non-starter. The higher probability of an exhaust leak is not something that interests me, not to mention it's a cheap way to assemble an exhaust. Messing around with clamps and making certain they're tight enough and positioned correctly is a huge drawback. Why is making an exhaust with a 3-bolt flange so difficult in 2024?
Materials - If there's no Ti option, I'm not interested. The value proposition for an exhaust on this car is already not a great one, so not being able to realize a material weight savings does not help the cause.
Sound - I dislike the boomy and bassy tone of this one and a lot of the others. I don't see how this one doesn't drone. I'm getting diesel truck more than turbo 4. I realize stainless materials naturally produce those tones, but I can't get behind how this one sounds.
Price - The cost is steep at ~$2,700 direct from the manufacturer for what you're getting. I can't imagine it's much cheaper from a dealer.
