I popped the hood and looked behind the headlights.
Here is what I found.

Left Headlight.

This bolt looks like it has teeth. Maybe this is for semi fine tune adjusting the beam height...?

Right headlight.

Right headlight bolt.

Anyone know if these are the adjustment bolts for aiming the beam height of the headlights?

Thanks.

Are these teeth the beam height tuning adjustment notches?

So... I turned on my car and my headlights, just in my crooked driveway, and I gave it a shot.
An 8mm or a 5/16 socket will fit the bolt.

I adjusted the right side headlight.

Before adjustment.
Note that my driveway is slanted, so my right headlight sits physically higher than my left from this position. We are just looking from my driveway across the street to my neighbor's driveway.

It looks to me that this is how the headlights are adjusted on 11th Gen Civics.
I haven't found any other screws or bolts yet. Of course it it dark outside right now, and my middle age eyesight not so good these days, so... that's my excuse, if I missed anything.
I hope this helps.

Anyone else know anything different?
Post it in this thread, please.

Cheers.

Hi.

I haven't tried adjusting my lights. I hate LEDs and knew my headlights were gonna be too bright, because everyone else's already are.

My solution?

Rally tint the headlights! ... that's if you like Yellow, of course.

I got the Dark Yellow tint from Metro Restyling and hired my local tint and wrap shop to install it.
You'll want to get at least 8 to 10 feet in order to give your installer plenty of material without running out of tint in the corners.

It's one option many people don't consider. I do still want to learn how to adjust the headlights, just to know how to do it.
Hope this helps.

Cheers

Ha ha!
Yup, you got it. Thicccc with 4 "C"s.
Those are Pirelli P Zero 275/45 ZR18 Summer tires on MITA Motorsports FKS 18X9.0 inch, ET+45 offset wheels,
... and YES, they rub.
I do not recommend 45 sidewall tires. Switching to 40 sidewall next time around.
I jus removed them a couple days ago for Winter storage.
See more in my thread called Civic Unslammed, where the goal is to raise the ground clearance of the Honda Civic.

wish they gave us a copy of a real service manual and not a dumbed down owner's manual for people that treat their cars as an appliance

I do too, kinda...
Except those things are pretty big, and most owners will likely never go near one, so I get it.
It is a high cost / low use (for most owners) item, and so I understand why manufacturers do not include one with the purchase of the vehicle.

In this case, though, it would have taken maybe half a page to show owners where the screw is, and tell owners to use an 8mm socket. Clockwise is Up, and Counter-Clockwise is down.
Pretty simple.

I think it could benefit a lot of people who are finally waking up to the fact that these new LED headlights, in general, are waaaaayyy too bright, and blind oncoming drivers.
These LEDs ARE light pollution.

Showing the owners of vehicles how to adjust their headlights to be less dangerous and maybe even almost safe is only a good thing.

Half a page, Honda. That's all it would take.

Cheers.

What would be nice to have is a headlight aiming machine, which in my experience, is rare to find in the USA.

I doubt any shop would spend the thousands of dollars on such equipment when a flat wall is free.

Though here's a great guide on how to "properly" aim lights without a machine. An Ikea parking garage is a great place to do it.
