Group Buy for Paragon BBK?

I saw in CivicX that @Unity Performance did a group buy for the FK8 Paragon BBK. Curious how many FL5 people would be interested if they or someone else could get a group buy together for the FL5.

Just ask the vendors what's the best price they can give you or go straight to the manufacturer and see if they can give you a better price.
By the time a group gets everything in order summer is over and the discounts ain't no better than BF .

I've been contemplating a Paragon kit for all 4 corners. This would sway my decision if the numbers work.

Why don't you reach out to paragon directly. You can potentially avoid paying a middleman their cut.

I can do that as well but some vendors also don’t wanna undercut their resellers so it may make little or no difference depending on contractual agreements they have.

FWIW, I would only go through the group buy through a distributor.

Any word back? They got to me with some preliminary stuff but said they aren't sure if they want to do another Type R group buy. I told them that the last one was for FK8 not FL5. They said they were working with a reseller (I assume you) on this still....

The prelimary discounts look pretty good to me but I didnt wanna post anything until we got approval.

Hey, yes i was going to update the thread today, been running around all day.
Paragon is requesting to get a potential count of buyers before they commit to an actual group buy. I was told the same thing about the FK8 group buy and I mentioned it technically is a different chassis even though its the same kit.,

Chicken or egg. I told them without some pricing, it might be hard for people to commit. Perhaps we start a new thread to get a headcount? I think in this thread, people have to get this far to know vs just having it be a thread topic that grabs attention?

Yes I agree.
I told them without pricing this would be difficult but I can find the old thread from the FK8 forums and try to use that as reference. I'd assume if we could match the amount of buyers we could match the discount. (I'd hope so)
