Will the OP ever update the thread again?

Will another noob poster come and make 6 consecutive posts back to back every few minutes?

Did dealer 1 beat up dealer 2 in the imagined repo scenario?

All this and more on the next episode of As The CiViC Turns!!!!!!!!111

I’ll tell you what happened. OP went all John Wick after they took his car. The police couldn’t help, so he demolished his basement floor, retrieved his gold and high capacity weapons, and set out to make things right. In a nutshell, dude has a brand new FL5 and there are a whole lot of car salesmen and repo men who aren’t coming to work tomorrow.

Until we know otherwise.
My speculation is…car was stolen using a tow truck and its chase vehicle was using stolen dealer plate.
Agreed. Great cover to 'repo' it, and then claim that it was a mixup due to this and that and the other. Confuse the authorities enough and they may just stop looking into it, thieves are good at that.

First post indicates the vehicle was a used '23 purchased about April '25. The vehicle may not have had a clean title, for many reasons - repo before or worse yet previously boosted and a false or "washed" title generated. Hopefully to be resolved in D's favor.

The police located the vehicle, it’s at some other dealership two towns away. But apparently(?) the police wouldn’t tell the OP the name of the dealership

Guess we'll never know what actually happened. Agree though, dealership two owed dealership one some money.

Shady used dealership?
