I'm trying to figure out a way to prevent damage to these rims when I'm pulling into my garage. There's about a 1.2-1.5" lip, sort of rounded, that feels like a freaking curb each time I cross over it when I pull into my garage.

I'm seeing solid rubber thresholds for wheelchairs and others for regular doors... What can I install that would be semi permanent and endure vehicle weight?

Saw these online before, they seem a little pricey, but I'm sure there are similar alternatives out there.

BRIDJIT Curb Ramps
I've purchased this product about 10 years ago. A previous home had the deadly combination for a lowered car: rolled curb + steep driveway. John Curry, the owner, at the time anyway, was super helpful. If you send him photos of your curb/driveway and provide information on your situation he'll provide perspective on the likelihood of how effective it will be. Saved the carbon fiber lip on my F80 from a slow and painful death. Decent product over all. The only knock I have on the product is it doesn't stay in place in the standard configuration (3 pieces - left, right, and center). You often have to reposition it and slide the pieces back together. Not sure if the most recent iteration functions better, same, or worse.

How often were you relocating? I might want this, too, for the entryway to the driveway. I'm scuffing the air dam (not the lip of the bumper) everytime I back out, even at the sharpest angle.

But I'll message em and see what they suggest. Thanks for the info, folks!

Maybe once per week. Not ideal, but I liked my carbon fiber RKP lip much more than I disliked moving the Bridjit around. It was a time and it worked until I moved.

I looked up the price I paid after seeing this thread and after ~10 years it's only up 10%. Not too bad considering 2015 might as well be a lifetime ago with respect to the cost of goods. Good luck and let us know how it works out for you.
