Just a heads up for everyone with an outstanding PRL order. I placed an order on 7/4 for an "available" item and had been waiting for 2 weeks without a shipment email. I reached out to their support team and just got this response:

Thanks for reaching out! This is expected to ship out August 11th. We're currently undergoing some internal changes within the warehouse, which has delayed most of our projected ship dates. Once this ships we will send you tracking details to the email provided on the order. Thank you for your patience! I'm so sorry for the delays!

I ordered floor mats from PRL that I also was under the impression were in stock that took some time to see a shipping confirmation. When I emailed asking for update this is what I got:

Thanks for reaching out! OEM Honda parts may take up to 21 days for fulfillment. Please understand that PRL Motorsports does try to stock as many commonly sold items as possible. Many items are considered "Special Order" and do take some time for us to receive from Honda/Acura direct. You should receive tracking for this sometime towards the middle of next week. I'm so sorry for the delays!
If I had known the item wasn't actually in stock I would have gone through Honda directly, but oh well.

Thanks for the heads up. If you're waiting more than a couple days for an item to ship, it's either not in stock or their order fulfillment process is busted. I hope you don't plan on canceling that order.

For OEM accessories (trunk liner, back seat protector, wrapped shift knob), lately I've gone through the dealer closest to me in DC - Greenbelt Honda. They don't have an online presence, but they offer discounts if you order accessories in person. The parts normally arrive in a day or two.

Nah, I can wait. I really like a lot of the stuff they have to offer and will be offering. In my case, it seems to be the fulfillment process that's gone sideways. They're just on the struggle bus right now.

I had this happen with my turbo blanket that showed available and took almost 2 months to get it. I'm thinking they need to hire a new inventory person to keep it updated.

I'm pretty sure they act as a middleman on a lot of their items and have it drop-shipped from the manufacturer direct.

I ordered a camber kit a couple months ago and still haven't gotten it. They gave me a shipping update a few weeks ago and still nothing. The item says "Manufacturer Direct" on it now.

I ordered a PRL Front pipe in June and got it the next week. So hopefully this is just a small hiccup.

Hopefully it passes. I order my intercooler and it was received within a week. I'm also on the east coast where I believe they are located...could be wrong

I'm in DC and they are in PA, so once it does ship, I assume it will arrive quickly. I'm actually eyeing the intercooler too - but was planning to hold off until their pipe kit was available and just do it all in one shot.

I was going to wait and do the same, but it looks like they have a bunch of fl5 parts that are "coming soon" and I'm unnecessarily impatient lol. Also the bumper is insanely easy to remove if I wanted to add the charge pipes down the road

They've had non type R parts marked as "coming soon" for several months or close to a year now that have seemingly been abandoned since the Type R was released. I honestly think they're trying to do too much without the proper resources. Or they just don't know what they are doing since delays are a reoccuring theme for them.
