Just got this in the mail today from Full-Race. Received a new High Pressure Fuel Line unexpectedly. Thankfully I haven’t installed my HPFP yet, but can appreciate Full-Race’s customer service for being proactive and sending everyone a replacement line for those who purchased the HPFP prior to March 10th of this year. Reason is due to a small percentage of people experiencing a leak from a manufacturing defect of the line.

Recommend those who already have their HPFP to keep a lookout on your doorstep/mailbox incase you get a random package, as I wasn’t expecting anything from Full-Race nor was aware of such issues.

Its annoying as i just finished installing mine yesterday! My fit is from the earliest release batches back in July 24, so have reached out to FullRace to check the likelihood of that batch being impacted.

Dang! Hopefully they get back to you and/or send you a replacement asap if you’re impacted.

I have Hondata’s Injectors, Full-Race HPFP and AEM 340LPH that I still need to install as well, it’s been just sitting in my garage collecting dust. I know Full-Race provides instructions, but how difficult was the installation overall?

I got one today as well. Not looking forward to doing that install again. The fuel line was the most annoying part of the install for me.

When you do the HPFP bolts and the adapter bolts, be VERY careful. They are very easy to over torque and you absolutely should use a known good torque wrench.

Just got this rom FullRace customer service:

“I cannot confirm whether the likelihood of failure is greater or lesser from the production date unfortunately.

It is recommended to swap it out no matter what. Please reference the service bulletin for reference.”

Any reason why you are getting a HPFP?

The day after the install back in September.

That’s unfortunate. But it’s been 6 months since September already, has the issue been resolved and what was the cause? If not, did you revert back to OEM?

Also, if you sell your Full-Race HPFP, who else are you going with XDI? Hondata?

XDI already has its fair share of issues with the well known EVO. Even their new HPFP60 for the K20C1, it has fitment issues when installing their new High Pressure “Softline”, so not sure whether that was resolved yet by XDI. Hondata HPFP is already known to be limiting from the start, that’s why they have their proprietary cam to add a little bit more power, and their LPFP isn’t that reliable as well, I’ve heard they’ve had a higher failure rate. Overall, nothing is perfect.

Poor QC and bad hardware. I had to go through nostrom to get full race to send me replacement parts.
Sorry to hear. So was the poor QC the fuel line that’s now being replaced or another hardware issue?
