Found the perfect knee pad

I banged my knee up pretty good doing an autocross last week. Nothing major, but it was definitely bruised after 12 runs.
I found a great black Alcântara knee pad on eBay that fits perfect.

Wow. I’ve raced with PCA before and I think I got maybe five runs. Awesome.

Actually, it can also work the other way... Being short, i have to move the seat up and forward to get to everything. When i test-drove a 2020 WRX, that moved me up against the dash, which swoops low on that model. I was banging my shin on it when just normal clutching. Thankfully, they redesigned in the current model, but that eliminated the WRX for short people like me.
