Fog light housing

Has anyone done anything other than putting fog lights in for the fog light housing like vents or somethingo ther than lights?

I left it open and put a mesh screen in the drivers side for the PRL cold air attachment to the HVI. Seems to work pretty well as I usually only see +10 degrees ambient at speed on IAT1.

I was thinking about doing the same thing as i'm changing my intercooler soon. How did you put the mesh screen just remove the cover and place it there or ?
