I just installed and I used a new blade with a standard knife. But hood isn’t closing now.
I wonder if the FL5 hood is slightly different because of it being aluminum and of course vent but they could have added additional bracing that's keeping it from closing

I’m going to have to figure it out and let you know. I took them back off for the evening. The latch wouldn’t catch.
Did you ever get the hood to close with the covers or just keep them off?

No, I tried again and it hits to keep it from closing. At least in my case. But they do fit my fiancés 2022 Honda Civic Sport and hood closes.

Hi MK-Type R, were able to fix the bonnet not closing issue?

Also there is a 6pcs set version that seemed to avoid the Type R's intake mouth. I found this in aliexpress.
