How many of you guys are asking the dealership to keep the wrapping on the car on delivery? Also, is it hard to remove it yourself if that’s the case?

I had planned on applying track armor for the 5 hour drive back. But feels like to keep the wrapping from shipment on there for the drive back makes more sense.

I initially told them not to wash it or remove the plastic, but forgot one of the dealer add ons is their paint protection. My salesman said he asked the head of the detailing department be the only one to touch it and to only use brand new rags. He said they couldn't remove the charge anyway. Seemed like a fair compromise.

My dealer said they have to take it off but will leave the inside plastic. We had a nice conversation about his detail guy to make sure nothing bad happens lol

Oh you were used as an example lol. I was very clear. He said he’s sold 10 Type R’s, and his detailer is very particular with them. It’ll be aight ?
