Potentially working with a dealer that is out of state for a Rallye red they have on the lot. It is a large distance away, almost 2k miles. What would you guys suggest in terms of tranporting it? I could always fly out, but would it make more sense to transport it via truck? If I do that would you suggest open or enclosed?
Whatever you do, do enclosed. Do not do open. I moved from California to Massachusetts and from Massachusetts to Florida. I had my Scion tC transported from California to Massachusetts (~3,000 miles) and the car was so dirty upon arrival. There wasnt any noticeable damage but my God the car was so dirty it was bad. Had no idea why because when I drove out to California with it (2,000 miles) it wasn't THAT bad.

When I moved to Florida I did enclosed transport because I didn't want to put my Mustang through that. Its really a night and day difference between enclosed and open. I went with Horeless Carriage and their service was top notch, no complaints and they offer 24/7 GPS tracking . Without a doubt I will be using them again if I ever need to.

Personally I wouldn't do the drive, when I drove out to California there was so much random debris and random bullshit that I had to dodge on the road. Thats just me though

thanks for that. I haven’t done any transports so I need all the help I can get.
About to figure it which badge number I got.
